Jobs & Hope WV and WV Office of Drug Control Policy Announce “Day of Hope” Legislative Event at the Capitol

Charleston, WV  – Jobs & Hope WV, in partnership with the West Virginia Office of Drug Control Policy (ODCP), is proud to host the inaugural Day of Hope at the State Capitol during the 2026 Legislative Session. This special event will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, and will serve as a Legislative Day dedicated to showcasing the impact of Jobs & Hope WV and its statewide network of partners.

The Day of Hope is an opportunity to highlight how Jobs & Hope WV and ODCP connect individuals in recovery and reentry with critical resources, services, and support systems across West Virginia. The event will bring together legislators, program partners, staff members, graduates, and past participants to celebrate success stories and foster collaboration.

Event Highlights:

  • Networking & Collaboration: Partners, graduates, and participants will have the chance to connect, share experiences, and strengthen relationships.
  • Partner Exhibits: Jobs & Hope WV partners are invited to register for a table to showcase their programs and services.
  • Legislative Engagement: Demonstrating how Jobs & Hope WV and its partners work together to create pathways to employment, recovery, and hope.

Partners interested in hosting a table can register online. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. There is no cost to register or attend!
