If so, you might be interested in the Jobs & Hope WV Workforce Employment Program, a collaboration of program partners that offers subsidized job placement(s) for West Virginia employers who hire eligible Jobs & Hope participants.
Jobs & Hope WV is a program that helps people who face barriers to employment, such as substance use disorder, criminal records, or lack of education/training, and provides the tools and resources to overcome those challenges and find meaningful employment. By hiring Jobs & Hope participants, you can help them achieve their goals and contribute to the economic development of West Virginia.
As an employer, you can benefit from the Jobs & Hope WV Workforce Employment Program in the following ways:
- Salary Reimbursements for Wages up to 1,040 Hours
- Up to $25,000 per Employee
- Free Workplace Drug-Testing and Support
To participate in the Jobs & Hope WV Workforce Employment Program, you must be registered as a vendor with the State of West Virginia and hire participants enrolled and eligible in the Jobs & Hope WV program. Jobs & Hope West Virginia is the state’s comprehensive response to the substance use disorder crisis. Established by Governor Jim Justice and the West Virginia Legislature, this program offers support through a statewide collaboration of agencies that provide West Virginians in recovery the opportunity to obtain career training and ultimately secure meaningful employment.
