Empowering Transitions: Introducing Reentry Initiatives

As part of a recent reorganization at the West Virginia Schools of Diversion & Transition (WVSDT), we are excited to announce the launch of Reentry Initiatives, a transformative step towards fostering successful transitions for individuals. Under the able supervision of Lorrie Smith and Deb Harris, four dedicated Reentry Liaisons have been strategically hired to facilitate this essential program.

These four dynamic individuals are actively engaged in thirteen correctional facilities, working closely with the incarcerated population enrolled in WVSDT educational programs. Their mission is to create a supportive bridge between correctional facilities and the Jobs & Hope WV program.

The Reentry Liaisons play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless transition for individuals from correctional facilities to the Jobs & Hope WV program. Their efforts are geared towards providing comprehensive support and guidance during this critical phase, empowering individuals to navigate their reentry journey successfully.

Stay tuned for more updates on how these Reentry Initiatives are making a positive impact on the lives of those transitioning from correctional facilities to a hopeful future with Jobs & Hope WV.
