Jobs & Hope WV to host Second Chance Job Fair May 28 at Charleston Town Center
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Jobs & Hope West Virginia will host a Second Chance Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2026, at center court inside the Charleston Town Center.
The event will connect job seekers with employers from multiple industries who are actively hiring and committed to offering second-chance employment opportunities. The job fair aims to support individuals working to overcome barriers to employment by providing direct access to employers and workforce resources.
Job seekers attending the event will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with employers, explore available career opportunities and learn about support services designed to help individuals achieve long-term employment success.
“Second-chance employment opportunities are essential to strengthening our workforce and supporting individuals as they build stable futures,” said Lorrie Smith, Director of Jobs & Hope WV. “This job fair creates an opportunity for employers and job seekers to connect and build meaningful pathways to employment.”
Jobs & Hope WV staff will be available throughout the event to provide guidance and connect attendees with services that help remove employment barriers, including job readiness support, training opportunities and transportation assistance.
The Second Chance Job Fair is free and open to job seekers.
